How would you define a useful company?
The definition of a useful company is the one that covers a positive role in the community. Some years ago, there was mainly economic indicators, nowadays, this statement is no longer valid. A much wider envision is needed. A useful company is a company that is also useful for its employees, its providers, its customers and, in general, to the entire society. Failing to achieve this will lead to unsustainable business models and companies that will not be competitive in the near future.
What is the role of creativity in relations with partners?
In a complex and extremely dynamic environment, the role of the creativity is the most important assets of a company. We leave in an interconnected world. Clear examples of this are Covid crisis or Ukrainian War, where specific problems in specific geographies and links of the supply chain have severely affected all the economy. Companies partnering with their ecosystem in a creative way are more adaptative, resilient and sustainable than those that confront on their own today’s challenges.
What challenges are there in technological innovation or business model innovation for the circular economy?
For the circular economy the most important challenge is the regulations that are still needed. Today many people are supporting the circular economy, and I am convinced that shortly this will be an obligation. Education and training are going to be also key points in this near future.
How can ethics and CSR be incorporated into international deals?
Usually, our counterparts in international deals are big and international companies with mature CSR programs in place. Consequently, an increasing number of RFP’s we are dealing with do already include CSR specifications. Not only as one more valuable item integrated into selection criteria, but also as a requirement to even be considered as a valid tenderer.

In this context, our customers expect greater and greater levels of responsiveness. Each day their needs are changing, and they need providers having the right responses today, not tomorrow.
